Les Cygnars en général

The Cygnarans are supposed to have the most advanced technology, the most resources, and some of the best gunsmiths of all the empires. This bears out in the way that the army plays, and the types of units that are available to you. Cygnar thrives on ranged combat, and if your play style favors blasting things at range then Cygnar is for you. This is not to say that Cygnar cannot fight up close and personal, but you will likely win or lose in larger games based on the results of your shooting as forces maneuver and close in.

Cygnar is relatively weak in close combat, and highly reliant on shooting. A Cygnar force will live or die by whether it gets in some solid kills during the few turns that you're closing in, so make use of screening troops and troops that are immune to ranged attacks, or have a high DEF and/or ARM value. A Menite force built around rocket troops might be able to outshoot Cygnar, but I haven't tested the theory. If your warcaster has any spells that increase the DEF or ARM of your troops use them! Sorcha's Fog of War seems like a weak spell, but the concealment bonus can be a game winner.

Even with the Journeyman the Cygnaran Warcasters are not much for sorcery. They can allocate focus to their warjacks, or they can cast spells, but only rarely can they do both at once. Even Nemo has to make sacrifices because most of his spells cost about four focus.

Finally, all of the Cygnaran warcasters are among the most fragile in the game. The Menite and Cryx warcasters are also somewhat fragile (the reason that all three of these factions have arc nodes) but nowhere near as delicate as the Cygnarans. Nemo and Caine define the very bottom of the scale for ability to absorb damage. The trick is getting enough of your heavy hitters past all that firepower to actually hit them.

Darius est le soutient idéal des warjack du Cygnar. Ses demi-jack seront une vrai épine dans le pied de l'adversaire, capable de se transformer en mine, ou encore de rendre le système d'un warjack inopérant pendant un tour, ils pourront de plus revenir le tour suivant dans les 3" de Darius. Mais ils sont aussi capable de réparer d'autres warjacks et accélérer cette réparation avec des points de focus. La réparation est le maitre mot de Darius, son feat permet de réparer dans la totalité tout les warjacks(même détruit) en contact avec celui ci ou avec un demi jack. Il faut rajouter à Darius ses capacités de combat plus que correcte, et son canon à vapeur pour les tirs.
